Hello and welcome to my blog! Everyone says you eat with your eyes first, but I feel that your nose plays an important role too! I love making food that is not only colorful and full of fresh ingredients, but also is aromatic and flavored with a medley of spices. As a vegetarian, I feel that any recipe can be extraordinary by adding a few more vegetables, legumes, nuts and spices. I hope you will feel the same way as you read my blog and try my recipes. After so so long

So much is happening.. Meghna will be leaving for college next week and it will feel very different. I have gotten so used to of seeing her when i get home from work and also of the nice cup of Chai she keeps ready for me. I will miss her.

Meghna chose the fabric and the owl art for the bag. I appliqued the design and sewed it for her. It has a zipper closure on the top.

I had to open my store bought sunglass case to make a pattern but this fabric one looks 100 times cute.
